SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – The State Bank of India has released the job notification for apprentices for SBI branches across India. There are  7150 vacancies to be filled through this recruitment. Candidates with the qualification of Any degree can apply for this job. The selection is based on an online examination. Detailed Eligibility- SBI Apprentice 2026:

Educational Qualification(As on 01 April 2026):

• Graduation from a recognised University/ Institute

Duration of Training:

• One year.

Age Limit(As on 01 April 2026): 20 to 28 years. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2006 and not earlier than 02.04.1998 (both days inclusive). Maximum age indicated is for unreserved and EWS candidates.

Age Relaxation: Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.

Stipend: Rs. 15,000/-

SBI Apprentice Recruitment – Selection Process:

Selection for engagement of apprentices would be based on the basis of (i) Online written test and (ii) Test of local language.

Note:

• There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage mark on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon). Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be as decided by the Bank. There are no minimum qualifying marks for individual subject.
• Merit list will be drawn State wise and category wise.

Test of local language:

• The specified local languages of the states are as mentioned in Para A of the advertisement.
• The candidates applying for training seats of a particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in any one of the specified local languages of that State as mentioned in Para A of the advertisement.
• The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process
