About PJTSAU: Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University is a state agriculture university which was separated from the central Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University in the year 2014 as a result of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. Educational Qualification:
Project Title: PPV&FRA DUS-Testing in Maize under Central Sector Scheme for implementing PVP legislation in DUS funded by GOI.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
- Masters Degree in Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Genetic Resources/Genetics/Plant Biotechnology and two years experience in research project post qualification.
- Must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or the selection process for the Master’s Degree through a national-level examination conducted by the Central Govt. Department and their agency and institution.
- Desirable: 1-2 years of research experience in conducting field trials/data collection and analysis / basic molecular Plant Biotechnology techniques/writing skills/crossing and evaluation of genotypes and computer knowledge are necessary.
Technical Assistant:
- Diploma in Agriculture
- Desirable: Relevant field experience in a Govt./Private organization.
Duration: Till 31 March 2025, which may be extended. The above posts are on an ad-hoc basis and are co-terminus with the project.
