Educational Qualifications:
Technical Assistant (Power Station – Electrical):
- Full-time regular Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Minimum 02 years post qualification experience in Switchyard / Switchgear/ Electrical Testing/ Transmission System/ Distribution System/ Transformer Maintenance / Electrical Maintenance in a Power Plant/ any process industry
Technical Assistant (Power Station – Mechanical):
- Full-time regular Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Minimum 02 years post qualification industry experience in supervision/execution in Maintenance activities of Ash Handling/ Boiler/ Turbine/ Coal Handling Plant/Water Treatment Plant/Mechanical Maintenance in a Power Plant/any process industry
Technical Assistant (Power Station – C&I):
- Full-time regular Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Minimum 02 years post qualification experience in Control & Instrumentation Maintenance activities in a Power Plant/any process industry.
Technical Assistant (Power Station – Chemistry):
- Full-time regular B.Sc. in Chemistry with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Minimum 02 years post qualification industry experience in supervision/execution in Water Treatment Plant process and water analysis (RO plant, DM Plant and pre-treatment plant) / Boiler Water Chemistry / Cooling Water treatment / Bulk Chemical analysis / Coal sampling and analysis in Power Plant / any process industry. Should have knowledge of analytical instruments/environment parameter testing etc.
Upper Age Limit (As on 31 January 2025): The upper Age limit is 30 years
Salary Details:
- Rs. 60,000/- inclusive of all statutory compliances.
- HRA/Company accommodation (subject to availability) shall be provided as per company rules.

Selection Process of NSPCL Jobs:
- The selection process will be based on Two Stages
- 1st stage: Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by 2 stage – Skill Test
1st Stage – Written test in CBT mode
- The CBT test shall consist of 120 question. 40 Questions will consist of MCQs from General Knowledge, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and rest 80 questions shall be MCQs from trade/discipline specific questions.
- The qualifying marks for the written test are 40%.
- Exam duration will be of 2 hours.
- Each correct answer will fetch 01 mark to the candidate and for each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the overall score of the candidate, However, there will be no negative marking for the unanswered questions
2nd stage:
- Based on the performance in the written test, candidates shall be shortlisted discipline wise in order of merit, based on the call ratio of 1:5 for the skill test. However, 2nd stage skill test will only be qualifying in nature.
- The qualifying marks of skill test are 40%.
- The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks of CBT test of those candidates who qualify in the skill test.
Note:
- The Computer Based Test (C B T) will be conducted at Delhi – NCR/Kolkata/Raipur/Bhubaneshwar.
- Test Centre shall be communicated to candidates at the time of issuance of Admit card.
- The details of Stage 2 Skill Test shall be intimated to the shortlisted candidates
