Detailed Eligibility of NIT Delhi Recruitment:

Education Qualification:

Junior Research Fellow (JRF):

  • Essential: Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Computer Science and Engineering or other relevant discipline.   [And]
  • Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology in the fields of VLSI Design/Microelectronics/Embedded Design/ECE or other relevant discipline, with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (or) CGPA of 6.5/10 in UG or PG for JRF under GEN/EWS/OBC category and 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA of 6.0 for SC/ST candidates
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Verilog HDL, Cadence Tool, Siemens EDA Tools (Mentor graphics), Synopsys TCAD, etc.
  • Duration: For three years, the initial appointment for one (01) year, which can be extended up to the completion of the project, is based purely on satisfactory performance. The position is co-terminus with the project.

Education Qualification:

Medical Officer:



  • A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, and including completion of compulsory rotatory internship followed by at least 03 years of
    experience in a recognized hospital.
  • Desirable:  3 years work experience in a medical college or large Govt. / recognized private Hospital.
  • M.D. or M.S. in an appropriate branch of Medicine or diploma in the concerned speciality or Superspeciality mentioned in Section-A or Section-B in Schedule VI of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in an appropriate branch of Medicine or diploma in the concerned speciality or Super-speciality mentioned in Section-A or Section-B in Schedule-VI of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, plus at least 1-year experience in a recognized hospital.
  • The above qualifications, such as diploma / MD / MS, may preferably be in medicine, chest diseases, paediatrics, obstetrics, gynaecology, family medicine, psychiatry, or others.

Staff Nurse:



  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute or University. OR
  • B.Sc. (Post-certificate)/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute or university.
  • Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council. OR
  • Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from and Indian ursing Council recognized Institute/ Board or Council.
  • Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council.
  • Two years experience in minimum 50 bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above.

Physiotherapist:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 55% marks with a minimum 3 years relevant experience in a recognized Hospital/ Institute/ College. OR
  • Diploma in Physiotherapy/ Physio-Occupational Therapy (after 10+2) from a recognized University/Institute with at least 55% marks and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a recognized hospital/institute/college.

Fire Officer:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Fire and Safety) or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute or equivalent with at least 55% marks in the qualifying degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in fire safety or fire fighting in civil/defence fire service organizations / public undertaking in the capacity of sub-officer or equivalent.

System Analyst:

  • 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with an overall experience of 4 years in the relevant field as mentioned in Annexure-1. OR
  • B.Tech./Master’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Applications or equivalent qualification in an appropriate field with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/Institute with an overall experience of 6 years in the relevant field as mentioned in Annexure- .   • Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Computer Science/Computer Applications or equivalent qualification in an appropriate field with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with an overall experience of 8 years in the relevant field

Application Analyst: Master’s Degree in Science/Computer Science/Computer Applications or B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent qualification in an appropriate field with a minimum of 55% marks

Assistant Sports Officer:

  • Graduate with a Bachelor in Physical Education (B.P. Ed.) or its equivalent with at least 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/Institute with at least two years of coaching experience in a University/Institute.
  • Desirable: Master of Physical Education with at least one Inter-University participation.
  • At least 1 year experience in Govt. / Autonomous Bodies / or University or College.
  • Computer course in M.S. Word, Excel, etc., from a reputed Institute.

Junior Counsellor:

  • Master’s in Psychology or Social Work, with specialisation in Clinical OR Counselling OR
  • Psychotherapy and Graduation in Psychology with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade point average) from a recognized University/ Institute.
  • Experience: 5 years of relevant experience as under:-
  • 1 year of Clinical experience in Mental Health Care and;
  • 4 years experience in the post of a full-time Counsellor.
  • Desirable: The above should be in an educational institution. (a) and (b) above should be group counselling and individual counselling.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Assistant Programme Coordinator:
