Junior Engineer: 3 Years Diploma in relevant fields

Programming Associate: 3 Years Diploma in Computer Sc/IT/BCA/B.Sc. (Computer Sc.), B.Sc. (IT)
Assistant:
- HR: 3 Years Graduation in BBA/BBM
- Corporate Hospitality: Graduate in Hotel Management or equivalent
Junior Maintainer:
- Electrical: ITI (NCVT/SCVT) Certificate in Electrician trade or Equivalent
- Mechanical: ITI (NCVT/SCVT) Certificate in Fitter trade or equivalent
Probation Period: After joining, an employee has to undergo a probation period for two (02) years as per Company policy
Age Limit: 25 years
Age Relaxation of NCRTC Vacancy:
- Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes (SC/ ST) – 05 Years
- Other Backward Class- Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) – 03 Years
- PwBD – UR/EWS – 10 years
- PwBD-OBC (NCL) – 13 years

- Upper age limit shall be relaxed by the length of military service increased by three years in the case of Exservicemen and commissioned officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers of Short Service Commissioned Officers – 03 years

Selection Process of NCRTC Careers:
- The selection methodology will comprise a Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by a medical fitness test in prescribed medical standards as per the Indian Railway Medical Manual.
- The syllabus of the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be hosted on the NCRTC’s website separately.
- The candidates will have the option to appear for Computer Based Test (CBT) either in Hindi or English
- There shall be 100 questions in the Computer Based Test (CBT) and total marks shall be 100.
- Each correct answer shall carry 1 mark and there shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.
- The duration of the Computer Based Test (CBT) shall be of 90 minutes.
Test Centres: The test Center options are- Delhi-NCR, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai.
Application Fee:
- For UR, OBC, EWS and Ex-Servicemen candidates: Rs. 1,000/-
- For SC/ST/PwBD category candidates: Nil
Mode of Payment: Credit/Debit Card/Net banking shall be used for online transaction/payment
