- The roles and responsibilities of SOC analysts are multiple as they ensure the security of the company operations, ensure that an organisation’s sensitive data and information are safe, and protect the company systems from hackers and malicious activities.
- Management and Evaluation of security incidents + alerts
- Assess security and business risks.
Job Description: The analyst is in charge of monitoring and auditing the company’s systems. They also keep an eye on network traffic to ensure that no suspicious behaviour is taking place. Here are the responsibilities that come under a SOC analyst’s job description:
