There are seven GIRHFWT Vacancies for these posts. Candidates with MA/M.Sc/MSW/PhD/Diploma/Any Degree qualifications are eligible to apply for the job. Detailed Eligibility – GIRHFWT Careers:
Educational Qualification:
Assistant Professor:
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University or an equivalent institution degree from an accredited foreign university in the subjects, Demography / Population studies / Statistics / Bio-Statistics / Economics / Mathematics / Sociology / Social Work / Psychology / Anthropology / Geography. OR
- The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign university/ institution with a ranking among top 500 in the world University Ranking (at any time) by any one of the following. (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) the Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).
Research Investigator:
- Post Graduate degree in Demography / Population studies / Statistics / Economics / Mathematics / Sociology / Social Work / Psychology / Anthropology / Geography.
- Knowledge in Statistical Software such as SPSS, STATA and R etc.,
- 3 years of experience in collection/analysis and report writing.
Note: Experience is relaxable for candidates with higher qualifications
Field Investigator:
- Post Graduate degree in Demography / Population Studies / Statistics / Economics / Mathematics / Sociology / Social work / Psychology / Anthropology / Geography.
- 2 years of experience in the collection, analysis of Data.
- Desirable: Knowledge in Statistical Software such as SPSS, STATA and R etc.,
Data Assistant:
- Graduate degree with Statistics / Economics / Mathematics.
- 3 years of Experience in data handling using the latest Statistical packages such as SPSS, STATA and R etc.
Lower Division Clerk:
- Any Degree and Not less than 2 years of experience in Clerical or administrative roles in Record keeping, file management, drafting, viz., routine correspondence in a registered and reputed Companies / Institutions / organisations.
- Holds a Diploma/Certificate in Computer Course.
Upper Age Limit (As on 27 July 2025): Up to 55 Years
Salary:
- Assistant Professor: Rs. 56,100/- to 1,77,500/-
- Research Investigator: Rs. 35,600/- to 1,12,800/-
- Field Investigator: Rs. 32,000/-
- Data Assistant: Rs. 32,000/-
- Office Superintendent: Rs. 58,000/-
- Lower Division Clerk: Rs. 30,000/-
