ICAR-Central Institute for Women in Agriculture (ICAR-CIWA) is an institution first of its kind in India that is exclusively devoted to gender-related research in agriculture. Established as National Research Centre for Women in Agriculture (NRCWA) in April 1996 at Bhubaneswar (Odisha) under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, following the recommendation of the Working Group on Agricultural Research and Education, constituted by the Planning Commission for the formulation of the 8th Five Year Plan (1992-97), the institute has been undertaking research on various issues affecting women’s role and participation and the emerging opportunities in agriculture

Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Project Name: “Empowering farm women through climate-smart intensification and diversification in minor irrigation command areas of Keonjhar District (Odisha)” in collaboration with Odisha Integrated Irrigation Project for Climate Resilient Agriculture (OMPCRA)”
Field Assistant:
- Graduation in any discipline or 10+2 with Diploma in vocation study.
- Experience working on research and development projects.
Community Mobiliser:
- 10th (Matric)
- Experience working on research and development projects.
Age Limit ( As on 15 June 2023 ): 21 – 45 years with relaxation as per the rules.
Salary:
- Field Assistant: Rs 15,000/-
- Community Mobiliser: Rs 8,000/-
