Educational Qualification:
Project Title: Mammalian population assessment in the state of Meghalaya across protected and fragmented landscapes.
Senior Project Associate:
- Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Science/Zoology/Geo-informatics/Forestry from a recognized University and candidate should have a minimum of 4 year of research experience in Mammalian/Wildlife Ecology or
- Should possess a Ph.D. degree in Wildlife Science/Ecology/Zoology/Forestry(Wildlife)/ Geoinformatics (Wildlife).
- Desirable Qualification: Demonstrated experience of fieldwork on Biodiversity/Wildlife Conservation/Ecology. Candidates with knowledge of Local language ((Khasi/Garo) shall be an advantage. Senrio Project Associate will be leading the team in field work, analysis, workshops and reporting.
Project Associate – I:
- Master’s Degree in Wildlife Science/Zoology/Geo-informatics/Forestry from a recognized university.
- Candidate with a minimum of one year of research experience in Mammalian/Wildlife Ecology shall be preferred.
- Also, demonstrated experience of fieldwork on Biodiversity/Wildlife Conservation/Ecology and knowledge of Local language will be an advantage.
Project Title: Study the various impacts that may occur due to the De-silting of Harike Wetland.
Project Associate – I (Fishes & Herpetofauna Component):
- Master’s Degree in Wildlife Science/Zoology/Life Science or related subjects from a recognized university.
- Desirable Qualification: Candidates with experience in fish & herpetofauna field surveys will be preferred. Previous related work/research experience including field surveys and technical report writing shall be an added advantage.
Project Associate – I (Vegetation Component):
- Master’s Degree in Wildlife Science/Botany/Forestry/Life Science or related subjects from a recognized university.
- Desirable Qualification: Candidates with previous work experience of floristic surveys in Western Ghats shall be preferred.
