Detailed Eligibility – VNIT Nagpur Jobs:
Educational Qualification:
Training and Placement Manager:
- B.E/B. Tech and M.B.A (HR) from recognized University with First Class (60 % & above).
- Twelve years overall experience with at least 3 years in Training & Placements in CFTIs.
Skills expected:
- Skills and Capacity to handle multiple company activities and students simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and Presentation Skills, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Data Analytics, MIS and usc of Social platforms for professional applications.
Note: As per Institute Policy, the candidate may be considered for PhD program as per the applicable rules. Candidates are interested in extending their JRF to the PhD. Program as per VNIT rules will be preferred.
Duration: The engagement is purely on contract basis through third party outsourcing agency for a period of six months, extendable by another six months depending on performance.
Age Limit:
- Preferably below 45 Years
Salary:
- Rs. 65,000/- per month (Consolidated) subject to the achievement of the target. The remuneration may be revised after One year depending on the performance.

The scope of work for Training and Placement Manager:
- To coordinate the Placement activities end to end. Inviting prospective recruiters from all relevant sectors of the Industry from India and abroad, organizing their selection processes either virtually or on-campus and following up on the on boarding process.
- To invite and respond to all industry HR questions or requests regarding placement support, activity, and students counselling if required. Maintain the contact database of prospective employers.
- To establish and maintain connect with various Alumni.
- Work closely and regularly with students to identify interests, skills and needs. Further respond to all the student’s queries or requests regarding placement support and activity.
- Work directly with Student Placement Committee to plan the Campus Placement Cycle.
- Work closely with departments, departmental coordinator to maintain and report students” employment progress, and provide timely tracking of all placements.
- Refer students to prospective employers for employment opportunities, and maintain documentation of student referrals.

Educational Qualification:
Title of the project: “Optically Controlled Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces for 6G Wireless Communication
Systems” sponsored by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB)
Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
- B.E./B.Tech AND M.Tech./M.E./M.S. degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or equivalent streams with first class. The GATE qualification in the past is desirable.
- Desirable Qualification: Good academic record and knowledge in the relevant area (Optical Communications, Signals and Digital Communication)
Note: As per Institute Policy, the candidate may be considered for PhD program as per the applicable rules. Candidates are interested in extending their JRF to the PhD. Program as per VNIT rules will be preferred.
Duration: The assignment will be initially for six months, which is extendable up to 3 years or completion of the project, whichever is earlier, solely based on the satisfactory performance of the candidate.
Stipend:
