Educational Qualification:
Dangerous Goods Inspector:
- Degree in any discipline
- Having undergone a Category-6 Dangerous Goods Training course duly approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) or International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) or the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
- Experience: Total experience of seven years i.e.
- Two years experience as a Dangerous Goods Instructor of a training organization approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and
- Five years experience in handling air cargo in scheduled operations
Foreman (Chemical):ย Degree in Chemical Engineering or Technology from any recognized University plus one year experience in the relevant field i.e. Chemical from a recognized organization OR Masterโs Degree in Chemistry from any recognized University OR Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in the relevant field i.e. Chemical plus one-year experience in the relevant field i.e. Chemical from a recognized organization. (Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.)
Foreman (Metallurgy):
- Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Technology from any recognized University OR Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in the relevant field i.e. Metallurgical (Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.) OR Associate Member of Indian Institute of Metals (AMIIM) in the relevant field i.e. Metallurgical. - Experience: One year experience in a relevant field i.e. Metallurgy from a recognized organization
Foreman (Textile):
- Degree in Textile Engineering or Technology from any recognized University OR Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in the relevant field i.e. Textile. (Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.)
- Experience: One year experience in relevant field i.e. Textile from a recognized organization
Assistant Director (Forensic Science):
- Masterโs Degree in Forensic Science from a recognized University.
- Experience: One year experience of teaching on the subject in a recognized University one year of analytical experience in the Centre for Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) or State or in the Forensic Laboratory of Union Territory or one year of analytical experience from a recognized University
Deputy Assistant Director (Lecturer):
- Masterโs Degree in Sociology or Psychology or Criminology from a recognized university.
- Experience: One year of teaching experience in a recognized institution in the field of Sociology or Psychology or Criminology
Assistant Public Prosecutor: Degree in Law of a recognized University
Unani Physician: Bachelorโsย degree in Unani Medicine from a recognized University or Statutory State Board or Council or Faculty of Indian Medicine recognized under the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020 (14 of 2020). Age Relaxation:
- The age limit shown against all items is the normal age limit and the age is relaxable for SC/ST candidates up to 5 years and up to 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them.
- SC/ST/OBC candidates must produce a caste certificate in the prescribed proforma.
- Age relaxation of 10 years (This implies that Scheduled Castes/Schedules Tribes category candidates would get a maximum of 15 years of age relaxation, including five years meant for their respective categories.
- Similarly, OBC candidates would get a maximum of up to 13 years, including 3 years of age relaxation meant for the OBC category)
- The upper age limit is relaxable for the Central/U.T. Government.
- The upper age limit in the case of Ex-Servicemen and Commissioned Officers, including ECOs/SSCOs, shall be relaxed by five years

Selection Process ofย UPSC Recruitment:
- The selection process includesย Interviews.
- The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether the selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by an interview, will be UR/EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PwBD-40 marks, out of the total marks of interview being 100.
- In cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by an interview, the candidate will have to achieve a minimum level of suitability in their respective category at the Interview stage.
- By holding a Recruitment Test. Generally, weightage in the ratio of 75:25 is accorded for marks in Recruitment Test and for marks in interview in determining final merit.

Note:
