UPPSC Recruitment 2023 – The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) invited online applications from eligible candidates for the Staff Nurse (Unani) role. There are 27 openings available for this post. Candidates with a diploma qualification are eligible to apply for the UPPSC Vacancy. UPPSC – Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is the agency to conduct the all civil service examination for entry-level selection in the Uttar Pradesh state. There are many categories of jobs are available for the candidates in Uttar Pradesh state. To recruit the eligible candidates UPPSC will set the structure for the selection process which is consist of competitive exam, interview, etc. Candidates who selected in all stages will be placed in the concerned job.

Detailed Eligibility – UPPSC Staff Nurse Recruitment:

Educational Qualification:

Staff Nurse:

Must have passed High School examination with Science and passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of High School & Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh or an examination recognized by the government as equivalent there to;
Possess a Diploma in Medical and Surgical Nursing (Unani) registrable with the Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbi Medicine board of Uttar Pradesh.
Possess a Diploma in Midwifery (Unani) registrable with the Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbi Medicine Board of Uttar Pradesh.
Possess registration certificate as Unani Nurse and Midwife (Dhatri) from the Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbi Medicine Board of Uttar Pradesh.
Must have served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years; or
Obtained a “B” certificate of National Cadet Corps, shall, other things being equal, be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment.

Age Limit(As on 01 July 2023):

21 years to 40 years (i.e. they must have not been born earlier than 2nd July, 1983 and not later than July 1, 2002)
For PH candidates, the maximum age limit is 55 years i.e. they must have not been born before 02 July, 1968

Age Relaxation of UPPSC Staff Nurse Recruitment:

Upper age limit shall be greater by five years for candidates belonging to Scheduled castes of U.P., Scheduled Tribes of U.P. Other Backward Classes of U.P., Skilled players of U.P. of Classified Games, U.P. State Govt. Employees including Teachers/Staff of the Basic Shiksha Parishad of U.P. and teachers/staff of the Government Aided Madhyamik Vidyalayas of U.P
Upper age limit shall also be greater by three years + Period of service rendered in Army for the Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers/ Ex-Army Personnels of U.P

Selection Process of UPPSC Vacancy:

The selection process will be based on Preliminary exam/Written Exam/Medical Medical Examination
On the basis of the result of Preliminary Examination, fifteen times candidates to the number of vacancies shall be declared successful for the main examination
The selection will be made as per Merit prepared on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in the Main (Written)Examination as per provision of rule
The dates and venue for the Main examination shall be informed by the Commission later on through e-Admit Cards.
The candidates must enclose self attested copies of all Marksheets/certificates in support of their claims rendered in the application form for main examination
In the objective type question papers of examination penalty (Negative Marking) shall be imposed for wrong answers given by the candidates
The minimum efficiency standard for S.C. & S.T. candidates is fixed 35% i.e. the Candidates of these Categories shall not be placed in the merit/select list if they have secured less than 35% marks in the examination.
Similarly, the minimum efficiency standard for the candidates of other categories is fixed at 40% i.e. such candidates shall not be placed in the merit/select list if they have secured less than 40% marks in the examination
