Age Limit (As on 28 February 2026):
- Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years
Age Relaxation: Relaxation in upper age limits to SC, ST, OBC [NCL] PwBD & other applicable categories shall be as per Government of India guidelines.
Payment of Stipend to Apprentices: Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973, Apprentices Rules 1992/2019/2025 as amended from time to time.

Selection Process for UCIL Apprentice:
- Selection of the candidates will be on a merit basis i.e. on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the respective fields.
- Screening and selection will be based on the details provided in the on-line application form, hence it is necessary that only accurate, full and correct information is furnished by the applicants.
- Provisional merit list shall be prepared based on the information entered in the portal.
- Physical verification of the original documents shall be done during joining.
