Detailed Eligibility:
Assistant Engineer:
- Electrical: Must possess a bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical and electronics Engineering from a recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or Provincial Act, State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission/AICTE [or] any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto [or] a Pass in Sections “A” & “B” of AMIE (India) Examination conducted by the Institution of Engineers in Electrical; Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Mechanical: Must possess a bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act Provincial Act, or State Act or an institution recognised by the University Grants Commission/AICTE [or] any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto [or] a Pass in Sections “A” & “B” of AMIE (India) Examination conducted by the Institution of Engineers in Mechanical Engineering.
- Electronics: Must possess a bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering/Instrumentation Controls Engineering/Electronics & Control Engineering/ Instrumentation & Power/Power Electronics of a recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or Provincial Act, or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission/AICTE [or] any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto [or] a Pass in Sections “A” & “B” of AMIE (India) Examination conducted by the Institution of Engineers in Electronics Engineering
- Civil: Must possess a bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering of a recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act Provincial Act, or State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission/AICTE [or] any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto [or] a Pass in Sections “A” & “B” of AMIE (India) Examination conducted by the Institution of Engineers in Civil Engineering
Chemist: Must possess M.Sc First Class with Chemistry or M.Sc First Class with Environmental Sciences preceded by B.Sc with Chemistry as one of the Subjects from a recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or Provincial Act, or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission/AICTE [or] any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.

Selection Process:
- The selection of candidates for appointment will be made purely based on “merit marks” obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination.
- The “Written Examination” shall comprise 100 Marks consisting of 100 multiple choice questions each question carrying 1(One) Mark.
- Section “A” consists of 80 Questions on core technical subjects and Section “B” consists of 20 questions on English, General Awareness, Analytical and Numerical Ability including Telangana History, Culture and post-development of Telangana State after formation, Basic knowledge of Computer for handling office works such as MS Office etc.
- The Duration of the Written Examination will be 2(two) Hours [120 minutes]
- Only those candidates who qualify in the written examination by being ranked high in the descending order [with the highest and ends with the smallest], community-wise, will be called for verification of Original Certificates in the ratio of 1:1.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- OC, EWS & Meritorious Sportsperson – 40%
- BC – 35%
- SC/ST – 30%
- PH – 30%
Application Fee:
- Application processing Fee: Each applicant must pay an amount of Rs.400/-(Rupees Four Hundred only) towards the ONLINE application processing fee.
- Examination Fee:
- The applicants have to pay an amount of Rs.300/-(Rupees Three Hundred Only) towards the “Examination Fee”.
- However, the applicants belonging to SC/ST/BC/EWS and Physically Challenged categories are exempted from payment of “Examination Fee”.
