Associate DevOps Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
- A degree can generally be substituted with relevant work experience and/or a certificate/training program in addition to the guidelines listed below.
- Relevant fields of study include but are not limited to:
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Software Engineering
- Information Technology
- Information Systems
Work Experience: From 1 – 2 years experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – Must-Haves
- Communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Awareness and appreciation of working to Service Levels
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve routine technical issues.
- Ability to follow standard practices, procedures and work instructions to execute tasks under detailed instruction and guidance.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
- Awareness of ITIL processes/practices
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with operating systems (Linux, Windows) and command-line interfaces.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – Nice-to-Haves
- Basic understanding of software development concepts and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar)

Job Summary: The Associate DevOps Engineer will perform an Applications Support role responding to incidents and service requests on Trimble’s products and platforms that impact Trimble customers.
- You will have exposure to a wide range of technologies and industries which Trimble operates in.
- You will be required to follow runbooks and investigate/resolve incidents and fulfill requests in a timely manner. You will be working closely with Cloud Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers and Service Managers to expand your knowledge and develop your technical capabilities.
- This role requires you to build a knowledge of technologies, practices, and procedures within the role.
- Being able to follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing problems from which answers can be readily obtained.
- You will receive detailed instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles.

- Flexible Working: Office-Based (Weekend Shifts WFH)
- Shift Patterns: You will be on rotation to work in the following shifts (including weekends)
