Selection Process of TNPSC Group 2 & 2A Recruitment 2024:
The Combined Civil Services Examination – II (Group II and IIA Services) comprises two successive stages: (i) Common Preliminary Examination and (ii) Separate Main examination for Group II and Group IIA Services, except for the post of Forester in Forest Department and TAFCORN for which selection will be made in three successive stages (i) Common Preliminary Examination (ii) Main Examination and (iii) Endurance Test.
- Joint Preliminary Examination for the selection of candidates for Main Examinations;
- Main Examination for Group II Services for selection of candidates for the posts in Group II Services;
- The main examination for Group IIA Services is to select candidates for the posts in Group IIA Services.

TNPSC Group 2 & 2A Recruitment 2024 – Application Fee:
OTR Fee: Candidates should register only once in the One Time Registration by paying Rs.150/- as registration fee
Examination Fee:
- The preliminary examination fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) should be paid when submitting the online application for this recruitment, unless exemption of fee is claimed.
- The main examination fee of Rs. 150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty only) has to be paid by the candidates who have not claimed fee exemption if they are shortlisted for the Main Written Examination based on the results of the Preliminary Examination and on receipt of such intimation from Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.

- The candidates can pay the examination fee by online mode through Net Banking / Credit card / Debit card on or before the last date of submission of the online application by choosing the option in the online application. Candidates have to pay the service charges also as applicable.
Offline Mode:
- Offline mode of payment, if any received in the form of Demand Draft / Postal Order, etc., will not be accepted, and the applications forwarded with such modes of payment will be summarily rejected, and the same will not be returned or refunded.
