Selection Process for TNPSC Combined Technical Services Exam:

  • The Combined Technical Services Examination (Non-Interview Posts) will be conducted as a single stage Written Examination.
  • Onscreen certificate verification will be conducted before admission to the physical certificate verification and counselling.
  • The Commission will draw a list of candidates to be qualified for the onscreen certificate verification based on the criterion of minimum qualifying marks as mentioned
  • After onscreen certificate verification, based on the marks obtained in the written examination and subject to the rule of reservation of appointments, candidates will be admitted to the physical certificate verification and counselling (wherever applicable)
  • Marks obtained by the candidates in the Examination (Part B & Part C of Paper I and Paper II) would determine final ranking.
  • The final selection will be based on the total marks obtained by the candidate in the Examination (Part B and Part C of Paper I and Paper II), subject to rule of reservation of appointments.

For all the posts except Translator:

  • The exam will be 3 hours each for Paper I & Paper II.
