TN State Planning Commission Internship 2024: TN State Planning Commission has announced notification for the Innovation Internship Programme at State Planning Commission Chennai. Detailed Eligibility for Innovation Internship Programme:

Educational Qualification:

Innovation Internship Programme: Candidates who qualify under any one of the following categories can apply to be part of the Innovation Internship Programme

Completed post-graduation or professional degrees in Management/Business administration/Innovation & Entrepreneurship/ Business Development.
Candidates with outstanding academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply, highlighting their academic performance and achievement, including papers presented at seminars, projects executed, design contests participated in, and any other awards/distinctions obtained.

Period of Fellowship: Duration of the programme may commence from 02 September 2024 onwards for a period of 4 months, extendable to 6 months.

Objectives of the programme:

To facilitate short-term exposure to young post-graduates and familiarize them with the scope of innovation in governance.
Develop professional competency within the early career community by working with innovation ecosystems, emerging technology, and social innovation systems.

Tentative assignments for the interns include but are not limited to the following:

Conduct a comprehensive analysis of designated sectors to create a scoping report on “The potential for innovation within a specific government sector for achieving Tamil Nadu’s Trillion Dollar vision”.
Study national and international best practices/use cases and develop an archive of use cases for sector-specific innovation for the government.
Assist the CIG team in organizing and delivering knowledge-sharing and capacity-building workshops to various stakeholders.

Compensation:

This is not a paid internship programme.
No compensation will be paid for the internship period.
Candidates will be conferred with a Certificate of Internship from the Tamil Nadu State Planning Commission upon completion of 4 months and submission of the sectoral scoping report on the designated sector, which a panel will review.
Travel or accommodation expenses will not be provided unless explicitly stated as part of the task delegated.
