Associate Application Engineer:
- Completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering with 1-3 years of working experience

- Good Knowledge of programming languages like Java / Kotlin with good exposure to database concepts

- Make sure technical and design standards are followed by all product development teams

- Manage and evolve our technology stack

About the role: The role of an Associate Application Engineer is manyfold in an Enterprise context like the one in Swiss Re. This role will combine design thinking techniques, software development, networking skills, business domain knowhow, lean/agile collaboration culture to design, build, and grow/maintain high quality business applications. Your primary task is to provide technical expertise for specific product(s) focusing on architecture, application design, engineering, and rollout of high-quality products. In this role, you will also be responsible for collaborating with global teams and outsourcing partners during all phases.
About the team: Our team is the global Reinsurance Technology team, responsible for the technical architecture and engineering of IT solutions for the reinsurance business unit. The team members are passionate of bringing business needs and technology together. We closely collaborate with other teams and colleagues around the globe to share knowledge and engineer solutions.
