Supreme Court Recruitment 2019 has released the job notification for the post of Court Assistant (Technical Assistant-cum-Programmer)/ Personal Assistant for 66 vacancies. Candidates with the qualification of B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Sc/ MCA/ B.Sc/ BCA/ LLB or any degree graduates within the age limit of 18 to 32 years are eligible to apply for this job. Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification (as on 01.09.2019):

For the post of Senior Personal Assistant:

  • Degree of a recognized University.
  • Proficiency in Shorthand(English) with a speed of 110 w.p.m.
  • Knowledge of Computer Operation with a typing speed of 40 w.p.m.
  • Experience: 2 years experience of working as Stenographer Grade-D or as Steno-Typist in equivalent grade or collectively in the said grades or higher grade.

For the post of Personal Assistant:

  • Degree of a recognised University.
  • Proficiency in Shorthand(English) with a speed of 100 w.p.m.
  • Knowledge of Computer Operation with a typing speed of 40 w.p.m.

Age Limit(as on 01.09.2019):

  • For the post of Senior Personal Assistant: Below 32 years
  • For the post of Personal Assistant: Below 27 years

Age Relaxation:

  • For SC/STIOBC/PH/Ex-servicemen candidates as per Government Rules
  • No upper age limit for the eligible employees working in the Registry of Supreme Court of India.
  • No relaxation will not be applicable to the candidates who are working in other Government Department

Supreme Court Recruitment – Selection Process:

The selection process is based on the following exam scheme. The candidates will first be subjected to Objective Type Written Test and Computer knowledge Test and the candidates who qualify both the objective type tests will be called for skill test in stenography and typing speed test on Computer. The candidates who qualify in all the tests will then be called for an interview.

  • Xth standard examination conducted by any Board/ Institution recognised by the Government.

Supreme Court Recruitment Selection process:

  • Selection shall be on the basis of Written Test based on Objective Type Question paper in bilingual (English and Hindi).
  • The duration of the Written Test will be 1 1/2 hours(90 minutes).
  • There will be separate written tests for the posts of Junior Court Attendant and Chamber Attendant(R).

Skill Test:

  • Final selection list shall be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in Written Test.
