Educational qualification – UG/PG – Any science background
Effective English communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills.
Flexible to work in rotational shift – 6 AM to 1:30 PM and 1:30 PM to 8:45 PM (No night shift).

Roles and Responsibilities:

Enhance authors text to improve the overall readability of research articles.
Eye for detail to identify poorly written text.
Check for language grammar and in-house style (capitalization, spaces, quotation marks, dashes, vocabulary and spellings etc.) using tools
Improving text flow.
Raise author queries where required and incorporate changes accordingly.

Job Description: Copy editors are the most important link between the author and the readers giving final touch to the book/journal article in terms of its content by paying attention to language, styling, spelling, grammar, punctuation, headings, styling and formatting of references. Indexing work, if known, is an added advantage.
