Associate Software Development Engineer in Test:
- Candidates must possess a B.E/B.Tech qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years in a full-time SDET/QA Automation role.
- Solid understanding of STLC and quality best practices.
- Hands-on programming in JavaScript (preferred) or Python/C#.
- Automation experience with one or more: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, WebdriverIO (Wdio); API automation using Frisby/Jasmine/Mocha or similar.
- Exposure with UI and API test automation (must-have).
- Exposure to Jenkins and Docker (pipelines, containers, agents).
- Familiarity with Node.js/React applications and modern web testing strategies.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Willingness to learn new tools/technologies as needed.
- Functional testing experience, including test design and execution.
- Ability to write/optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for data validation.
Nice-to-Have
- PowerShell /JavaScript scripting for test/ops automation (log parsing, environment setup).
- Experience designing automation frameworks from scratch (architecture, reporting, utilities).
- Knowledge of mocks/stubs, contract testing, and test data management.
- CI fundamentals: parallelization, artifact management, test reporting (e.g., Allure/Extent), flaky test quarantine.
- Experience with cloud CI agents and containerized test execution.
