Sr. Medical Specialists (E4) /Medical Specialist (E3):
- The General Surgery, General Medicine & Pulmonary Medicine qualification is an MBBS from a recognized institute/college approved by the Medical Council of India with a recognized postgraduate degree/DNB.
- In addition to the above, a postgraduate diploma is considered one of the minimum eligible qualifications for other specialists.
- The Period of Tutorship from a National Medical Council/Commission-recognized Medical College/institute will be treated as a post-qualification experience.
- The period of completion of the fellowship course, recognized by the Medical Council of India, will be accepted as post-qualification experience.
- The Experience of private practice/self-clinic may also be considered post-qualification experience.
- Sr.Medical Specialist/ Medical Specialist candidates should have qualifications in the following disciplines.
- Surgeon
- Gen. Physician/Medicine
- Gynaecologists & Obstetrician
- Anaesthesia
- Orthopedics

Sr.Medical Officer:
- MBBS is from a recognized institute/college approved by the Medical Council of India.

- BDS from a recognized Institute/College approved by the Dental Council of India with 1-year post-qualification experience from a Hospital/Clinic.
- The Experience of private practice/ self-clinic may also be considered post-qualification experience.
Note:
- Candidates who have obtained the required eligible qualification from a Foreign University/Institute will also be considered, provided they submit the certificate of passing the qualifying examination from MCI.
- For eligibility, the Candidate should have obtained a Registration Number from the Medical Council India/State Medical Council against their qualification.
- A year of internship period being part of the curriculum will not be considered experience.

Selection Process for SECL Careers:
