Detailed Eligibility for RPCAU Careers:
Educational Qualification:
Senior Research Fellow (Plant Breeding):
- Essential: Master’s in Plant Breeding/Genetics/ Genetics & Plant Breeding with four years Bachelors Degree.
- Desirable:
- NET qualification or PhD degree in the discipline mentioned above and quality publications are required.
Duration:
- The above positions are temporary and will be filled contractually with a co-terminus with the project.
- The post will be offered initially for one year or till termination of the project, whichever is earlier, and further extendable based on periodic review and satisfactory performance for the remaining period of the project.
Age Limit(As on 17 April 2024):
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – Minimum 21 years to Maximum 45 years

Salary:
- Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA consolidated for 1st and 2nd years
- Rs. 35,000/- per month + HRA consolidated for 3rd year onwards
Selection Process for RPCAU Careers:
- Selection will be based on interviews.
- The candidate will be shortlisted for interview only based on their qualifying academic/required performance as per the university rules/guidelines.
- Only the shortlisted candidates after the screening procedure will be allowed to appear in the interview.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be informed by e-mail for an interview.
- The original certificates/documents along with their self-attested photocopies must be brought at the time of the interview.
