PWRMDC Recruitment 2021 – Punjab Water Resources Management and Development Corporation has announced an online notification for recruitment to the post of Tubewell Operator/Electrician/Company Secretary. There are 262 vacancies to be filled in various discipline. Interested candidates who completed their Degree/B.L/MBA/ITI can apply for this jobs on or before 14 March 2021. They will pay a consolidated salary of Rs. 19900 – 47600/ per month. The detailed eligibility and selection process are given below in detail.
About PWRMDC: Punjab State Tubewell Corporation (now Punjab Water Resources Management & Development Corporation) was incorporated in December, 1970 with the main objectives of utilization of ground water resources in the State of Punjab thereby providing irrigation facilities to the farmers through installation of deep tubewells in the most backward kandi area of the State which is devoid of other means if irrigation due to deep water table and difficult underground geological formations.

Educational Qualification:
Tubewell Operator:
- Matric with Punjabi + 2-year I.T.I. certificate in Electrician trade from Govt./ recognized I.T.I.
Electrician:
- Matric with Punjabi + 2-year I.T.I. certificate in Electrician trade from Govt./ recognized I.T.I
Company Secretary:
- Degree from recognized University, Member of the Institute of Co. Secretary of India, Degree in Law or M.B.A.
- Experience : Two years experience as Company Secretary in large commercial or Industrial Undertaking of repute
Age Limit:
- For General – 18 to 45 years

PWRMDC Recruitment 2021 Selection Process:
- Selection of the candidates for all posts will be made purely on the basis of merit in the written exam.
- Different exam will be taken for the post of Company Secretary, Tubewell Operator and Electrician. Candidate can apply for each post. Minimum marks for qualifying written exam for any post and any category will be 20%. There will be negative marking (1/4th marks shall be deducted for every wrong answer).
- The candidate will mark their answer on OMR sheet. The question papers of Tubewell Operator and Electrician cadre will be in English and Punjabi (except language part) and the question papers of Company Secretary will be in English only. The duration of exam will be maximum two hours.
- The Written exam will have 100 objective type questions with multiple choice answers, each carrying one mark as per details are General Knowledge/awareness, Mental Ability /I.Q. determination, Mathematical Skill , English Language, As per prescribed Academic qualification for the post.
