Update – Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has declared the 10th examination result on its official website (www.pseb.ac.in) on 29 May 2020 (Friday) at 07:00 PM. Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said that there is no provision of Continous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) for open school students/ other categories due to which they will have to undergo the examinations. Punjab education minister Vijay Inder Singla said that the results of registered students have been declared on the basis of Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE). Punjab Board will conduct examinations of the open school students, golden chance, improvement, and other additional subjects for matriculation or class 10 students which are not covered under CCE criteria.
PSEB 10th Result 2019 Analysis:
Last year Punjab PSEB board exam was held on 15 March to 02 April 2019. PSEB was declared the 10th examination results on 08 May 2019 at 11:30 AM. The overall passing percentage of PSEB 10th result 2019 was 85.8 and topper who secured 99.54% in PSEB 10th result was Neha Verma from Ludhiana. Out of 317387 students appeared in regular stream 271554 students are passed. The number of girls appeared in the PSEB 10th exam was 144880 and number of boys was 172507. Around 173681 students are appeared from government school out of this 153209 students are passed while for govt aided school 26581 students have appeared and 18722 students are passed. The overall pass percentage of girls 90.63% over the boy’s percentage of 81.30%. Government school students got a high pass percentage of 88.21% than the other govt aided, associated and affiliated schools.

Punjab School Education Board (PSEB):
