Punjab Police Recruitment 2021 – Punjab Police invites online application from eligible candidates for the post of Sub Inspectors/Civilian Support Staff  in various departments for 901 vacancies. Candidates with the qualification of Any Degree in respective fields can apply for this job. The selection process is based on the Computer Based Test (CBT) process followed by Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening Test (PST). Punjab Police Recruitment 2021 Selection Process:

  • The Selection Process shall be conducted in 2 phases, viz., Phase-I (Test 1 and Test 2) and Phase-II (Physical Measurement Test, the Physical Screening Test and Document Scrutiny).
  • The following shall be the constituents of the Selection Process: Test 1 (Computer Based Test (CBT)), Test 2 (Computer Based Test (CBT)), Eligibility check of Sports achievements (only for Sportspersons), Physical Measurement Test (Qualifying), Physical Screening Test (Qualifying), Document Scrutiny

Punjab Police Recruitment 2021 Selection Process:



  • The selection shall be a 2 (two) stage process consisting of following Tests: Stage I: Computer Based Test (CBT) Objective Type having multiple choice questions. Stage II: Document Scrutiny

STAGE – I: COMPUTER BASED TEST:

  • The first stage of the selection process shall be the online Computer Based Test comprising of one question paper which shall consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The Question Paper shall comprise 100 questions carrying four (04) marks each and shall be bilingual viz. in Punjabi and English.  Total duration of Computer Based Test – 2 hours, Total Number of questions – 100, Maximum marks – 400.

STAGE – II: DOCUMENT SCRUTINY:

  • Sufficient number of candidates would be shortlisted and called for Stage2, as per vacancy position, on the basis of merit determined by the marks obtained in the CBT Based Written Test following normalization and after factoring in reservation for various categories.
