PSTCL Recruitment 2021 – Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited (PSTCL) has released the online job notifications for recruitment to the post of Assistant Lineman (ALM), Architect & Assistant Sub Station Attendant (ASSA). Candidates with the qualification of Degree/Diploma/ITI in relevant fields can apply for this job. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 20 May 2021 to 11 June 2021. The age limit of the candidates should be from 18 to 37 years. The detailed eligibility and application process are given in below.

About PSTCL: Punjab State Electricity Board (PSPCL) is the electricity generating and distributing company of the Government of Punjab state in India. PSPCL was incorporated as company on 16-04-2010 and was given the responsibility of operating and maintenance of State’s own generating projects and distribution system. The business of Generation of power of erstwhile PSEB was transferred to PSPCL. Disciplinary action taken against the erring employees and 5 numbers Anti Power Theft Police Stations have been set up. New technologies like electronic meters, remote control of transformers, remote meter reading and HVDS system for AP/ Industries introduced.

Educational Qualification:

Architect:

Degree or equivalent Diploma in Architecture or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution, with experience for a minimum period of five years in the field of Architecture after degree or diploma.
Experience:- From amongst the member of the Punjab Service of Corporation Assistant Architects, who have Experience of working in such service for a minimum period of five years.

Assistant Lineman (A.L.M.):

Punjabi pass of matriculation or its equivalent level and Full-Time regular ITI in Electrician/ Wireman Trade from a recognized Institution.

Assistant Sub Station Attendant (ASSA):

Punjabi pass of matriculation or its equivalent level and Full-Time regular ITI in Electrician/ Wireman Trade from a recognized Institution

Age Limit :

Architect – 20 to 37 years.
ALM and Assistant Sub Station Attendant (ASSA) – 18 to 37 years

Upper age limit is relaxable by:

For SC/ST/BC: 5 years
For PH: 10 years

PSTCL Recruitment Selection Process:

The selection process will be based on written test/interview.
The question paper for all posts shall consist of 100 No. objective type questions (each question carrying 1 mark), with a provision of negative marking for a wrong answer @ 0.25 (1/4^th) of the mark allotted for a correct answer, to be attempted online in a duration of 2 hours. The questions shall be related to the concerned subject relevant to the post. general knowledge/awareness, as under for both posts:-
