Software Development Engineer I in Test:
Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required
- 0-2 years of professional experience in a product development organisation.
- Good programming in OOPs, Java, JavaScript (& openness to learn other relevant programming languages). Ability to debug the code and identify the root cause.
- Understanding of JavaScript based frameworks such as React, Angular is a big plus.
- Good knowledge of API concepts and hands-on experience on API automation.
- Experience with Web UI automation . Knowledge of at least one Web UI automation tools is required(Cypress, Selenium, PlayWright etc). Experience with UFTOne is a big plus.
- Experience with translating software requirements/stories into accurate and complete test scenarios, including identifying the detailed test data needs.
- Familiarity with AI tools like Copilot to leverage for test automation, test case and test data generation, security testing.
- Good understanding of unit test framework and code coverage.
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Knowledge of Database concepts
- Good understanding of CI/CD tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team to brainstorm, plan and develop new features.
- Comfortable working on both Unix and Windows operating systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
