Detailed Eligibility:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or equivalent
Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience of working in a professional software development environment (1-3 Years).
Good To Have:
- Experience with Subversion, GIT, or an equivalent source control management system Hands on experience with multiple operating systems (Windows, UNIX)
- Experience with Continuous Integration Systems such as Jenkins Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills Knowledge of SDLC
- Experience in a core programming language (NET, Java), one script language (PowerShell, or shell script.
- Knowledge in Azure Dev OPS deployments.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support all Release Engineering activities.
- Define and improve existing build and deployment processes.
- Help Development with delivering different types of releases.
- Investigate and resolve build, deployment, and test issues.
- Develop tools and other resources to aid in streamlining our release processes.
- Coordinate with development and QA teams in transitioning responsibility for ongoing maintenance and support.
- Perform root cause assessment for post-production defects and apply fixes as needed.
- Plan implement support projects with small to medium size to ensure a defect free production system.
- Provide support and identify all issues and prepare appropriate documentation for all issues and solutions.
- Manage all production system and recommend ways to optimize performance and provide solution to problems and prepare reports for all problems.
Job Purpose: Determine requirements for build deployment tools. Execute procedures ensuring quality and serviceability of build tools enabling best practices and processes. Consults with quality and development engineers for the resolution of complex problems. Develop new programs as well as enhancements, modifications, and corrections to existing Build/Release methodologies and processes Possess strong documentation skills for capturing and publishing process, procedure, and tool descriptions or improvements. Establish, document and execute general procedures for promoting software and data assets from development through Test, staging and production.
