OSPCB Recruitment 2022 – The State Pollution Control Board, Odisha has announced the employment vacancies for the post of Assistant Environmental Engineer and Assistant Environmental Scientist. There are a total of 35 posts. The educational qualification should be B.E/ B.Tech/M.Sc/AMIE. The details of Vacancy and Eligibility is given below.

Detailed Eligibility:
Educational qualification :
Assistant Environmental Engineer:
- The candidates must have completed Bachelor’s in Engineering (B.E)/ Bachelor Technology(B,Tech)/ Associate Member Of Institution Of Engineers (AMIE) (Section A & B) in the following streams/ subject : Civil Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Computer Science & IT/ Mining Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering and / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
- Candidates with Additional qualification like M.Tech, M.Phil, Ph.D and experience in the relevant field of Pollution Control will be given preference during selection process.
Assistant Environmental Scientist:
- The candidates must have completed M.Sc in the following streams : Chemistry/ Geology & Geophysics/ Statistics/ Life Science/ Environmental Science & Engineering/ Environmental Science.
- Candidates with Additional qualification like M.Tech, M.Phil, Ph.D and experience in the relevant field of Pollution Control will be given preference during selection process.
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2022) :
- The candidates applying for the post of Assistant Environmental Engineer and Assistant Environmental Scientist must have attained 21 years and must not be above the age of 32 years.
- The upper age limit is relax-able by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ SEBC/ Women/ Ex-Servicemen and 10 years for PWDs whose permanent disability is 40% or more.
