Detailed Eligibility:

Manual Testing Intern:

B.E/B.Tech in the disciplines of EEE/ECE/CSE or MCA degree or equivalent experience.
ISTQB Foundation Level certification will be a definite plus.

Functional Skills

Must be able to use PC and software testing tools
Knowledge of Screening and Scanning technologies is a plus
Exposure to Security Systems domain is a plus

Specific Knowledge

Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycles, Testing Life Cycle and testing Concepts
Knowledge of Microsoft OS and software practices
Comprehend Test set-up.
Test automation knowledge and prior experience with Selenium is a definite plus
Working knowledge of MS-Word and MS-Excel

Soft Skills

Excellent verbal/written communication skills with very good teaming skills
A commitment to ongoing training and self learning
Good time management and self-organization

Responsibilities

Set up test environment
Develop test cases against requirements/user stories
Execute assigned test runs and update Test Case management and Defect Tracking Tool Enter defect details and links to appropriate test runs.
Complete assigned tasks on-time and in accordance with the appropriate process.
Participate in technical reviews to ensure product quality.
Regular status reports of testing activities
Continually update technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications
Generate test reports
Develop Test Automation scripts under supervision

Overview: Manual Testing Intern shall be responsible for executing the assigned tests, and developing new test cases under supervision for a variety of software solutions in the product line. They should be able to effectively work within a team of technically strong engineers.
