Ordnance Factory Itarsi Recruitment 2023 notification announced for the posts of Chemical Process Worker. There are 100 vacancies available for the posts. Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Chemical Process Worker: Ex-Apprentices of AOCP Trade possessing Ordnance factories training/experience in manufacturing and military handling explosives and also Ex-trade apprentice of AOCP trade trained in Ordnance Factories of erstwhile Ordnance Factory Board possessing NAC / NTC Certificate issued by NCTVT (now NCVT).

Age Limit ( As on 01 April 2023 ): Between 18 and 30 years.

Age Relaxation:

• For SC/ST: 05 Years
• For OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 03 Years
• For Ex-Serviceman: Period of Military Service + 03 Years

Salary: Rs 19,900 + DA

No.of.Vacancies: 100 Posts ( UR – 40, OBC – 15,  SC – 15, ST – 20, EWS – 10 )

Selection Process:

• Selection of the candidates shall be done based on the Marks scored in the NCTVT and Trade Test/ Practical test only, in the order of Merit.
• The cut-off percentage for calling candidates for the Trade test will be decided by the Ordnance Factory Itarsi based on the total Marks secured in NCTVT.
• Trade Test will be carried out by Ordnance Factory Itarsi probably within one month of the closing date of the Advertisement.
• Trade Test/ Practical test will be of 100 marks.
• Merit list will be prepared based on combined marks secured in NCTVT Exam and Trade test/Practical Test.
• The Weightage of Marks in the NCTVT Exam and Trade test/Practical test will be 80% and 20% respectively.
• Candidates qualifying in the NCTVT and Trade Test/ Practical test will be called for Document Verification in the order of Merit.
• The number of candidates called for Document Verification will be limited to the number of posts notified (Discipline / Category wise).
• Only short-listed candidates will be informed through post and e-mail for Trade Test/Practical Test in due course.
