There are a total of 70 openings available for these posts. Candidates with B.E/B.Tech/Diploma/ITI qualifications in relevant disciplines can apply for this job. NPCIL Apprentice Careers – Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Trade Apprentice (ITI):
- ITI Pass Certificate in the respective Trade
- Fitter
- Electrician
- ITI Electronics Mechanic
- Mechanical
Diploma Apprentice:
- Diploma Pass Certificate in engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Educational established by a State Government/ by a University/ by an Institute recognized by the State or Central Government as equivalent to a diploma in respective Discipline.

Graduate Apprentice:
- Graduate Degree in engineering or technology granted by a statutory University/by an institution empowered to grant such degrees by an Act of Parliament in the respective Discipline

Note: Only those candidates who have passed Diploma / Graduate degree qualifying examination within 5 years from the date of closing online application i.e 02.09.2025 are eligible to apply on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal
Duration: Maximum 01 Year
NPCIL Apprentice – Age Limit (As on 02 September 2025):
- Trade Apprentice (ITI): 14 to 24 years
- Diploma Apprentice: 18 to 25 years
- Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering): 20 to 28 years
Age Relaxation:
- Relaxation in maximum age upto 5 years for SC/ST candidates
- 3 years for OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates
- 10 years for PwBD category candidates as per the Government of India Orders.
NPCIL Stipend Details:
- Trade Apprentice (ITI): Rs. 7,700/- after one year of ITI course, Rs. 8,050/- after two years of ITI course
- Diploma Apprentice: Rs. 8,000/-
- Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 9,000/-
