Educational Qualifications:
Category – I Graduate Apprenticeship Training:
- A Degree in Engineering or Technology (Full-time) granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline.
- A Degree in Engineering or Technology (Full time) granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline.
- Graduate examination of Professional bodies (Full time) recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
- For Nursing Graduates, BSc.Nursing granted by a Statutory University / Institution in relevant discipline.
Category – II Technician (Diploma) Apprenticeship Training:
- A Diploma in Egineering or technology (Full time) granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Full time) granted by a University in relevant discipline
- A Diploma in Engineering and Technology (Full time) granted by an Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above
- A Diploma Nursing granted by an Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above
Other Eligibility:
- Candidates should be from the states of Tamil Nadu, Andhrapradesh, Telengana, Karnataka, Kerala and union territories of Puducherry and Lakshadweep
- Candidates should have passed the qualifying exam in 2020/2021/2022/2023/2024
- Candidates should not have undergone or presently undergoing Apprenticeship Training in NLCIL or elsewhere
Age Limit: Age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules.
Stipend Details:
- For Graduate Engineering Apprentice Trainee: Rs. 15028/- for BSc. (Nursing) Rs. 12524/- (of which Rs 4500/- will be paid by the Government under DBT scheme)
- For Technician Apprentice Trainee: Rs. 12524/- (of which Rs 4000/- will be paid by the Government under the DBT scheme)

Selection Process for NLC Apprentice Careers:
- Selection will be based on a percentage of marks scored by the candidates in the qualifying Diploma/Degree, as the case may be.
- The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in bachelor’s degree / Diploma and as awarded in the final qualifying examinations will be calculated based on the practice followed by the University / Institution from where the candidates has obtained the Degree / Diploma.
- In case the candidate is awarded grades / CGPA instead of marks, the percentage of marks will be based on the procedure followed by the University / Institution from where he/she has obtained the Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma
- In the absence of any established scheme in the University / Institution for the calculation of the percentage of marks, the following principles will apply
- In case the candidate is awarded Grades / CGPA, then the equivalence in percentage of marks will be established by multiplying the Grade / CGPA by a factor of 10
- In case the candidate is awarded marks semester-wise, then the equivalence in percentage of marks will be established by taking the average of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in all the semesters from second year to final year
- In case the candidate is awarded marks year wise, then the equivalence in percentage of marks would be established by taking the average of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in all the years, from second year to final year

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on or before 23 December 2024 (17 hrs). The Registration forms duly signed should be submitted directly by post to the mentioned address on or before 03 January 2025 (5 PM).
