Selection Process for NLC Apprentice Careers:
- Selection will be based on percentage/total marks scored by the candidates in the concerned qualifying examination (ITI / Diploma / B. E / B.Tech / B.Com / B.B.A) or its equivalent of respective trade/discipline, as the case may be
- The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree as awarded in the final qualifying examinations Or In case the candidate is awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the percentage of marks will be based on the procedure followed by the University /Institution from where he/she has obtained the Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree.
- In the absence of any established scheme in the University / Institution for the calculation of the percentage of marks, the following principles will apply
- In case the candidate is awarded Grades / CGPA, then the equivalence in percentage of marks will be established by multiplying the Grade / CGPA by a factor of 10
- In case the candidate is awarded marks semester-wise, then the equivalence in percentage of marks will be established by taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in all semesters from II year to final year, considering the semester wise average
- In case the candidate is awarded marks year-wise, then the equivalence in percentage of marks would be established by taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in all the years.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on or before 23 October 2025 (17.00 hrs). The registration cum application form, duly signed, enclosing the self-attested copies of the following certificates, should be submitted by post to the mentioned address on or before 30 October 2025 (17.00 hrs).
