Project Title: Digitizing and Preserving the Heritage of Sirpur for Future Generation, sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India
Junior Research Fellow:
- B.E/B. Tech/ M.E/ M. Tech./M. Sc. (Engg) in CS/IT/ECE/EE or any other relevant field from a recognized Institute/University with First division.
- Desirable Qualification: Candidate with GATE/NET qualification
Research Area of the Project
- Computer Science and Engineering
- Sound knowledge on Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning
- Experience in Python, Neural Networks, Data Structures.
Project Description: The candidate is expected to develop a Image reconstruction model using the real-time dataset. Also, a framework is to be design and Implement to address need for the secure, efficient and high data availability. Data collection needs to be done by the candidate by visiting the site.
Duration of the Positions: 3 years (Co-terminus with the duration of the Project) subject to the satisfactory performance of the candidate in each semester. Initial appointment will be for one year, extendable by 2 more years on annual basis. The extension would be based on the satisfactory performance of the JRF and possible extension of the project.

- Total Questions – 100 (MCQ Type)
- Maximum Marks – 100
- The question Paper will have two parts viz. Part – A (20 Marks) & Part – B (80 Marks)
- Part A will be common for all posts and will comprise of General Knowledge and Current Affairs, General English, General Aptitude & Reasoning, Mathematics and Science, Computer Application and Other Subjects.
- Part -B will be specific for the post based on Department/Specialization.
- Each question will have one Correct Answer
- +1 (One) for Each Correct Answer
- 0.25 for Each Incorrect Answer
- No Marks for Unanswered Questions
- Multiple selections/cutting in Answers will be treated as unanswered and no marks will be awarded.
- Duration of test – 3 hours
Merit List: Merit List will be prepared based on Total Score obtained in the MCQ test only. However, cutoff marks for UR & EWS categories will be 35%. Reserved category applicants who have applied against UR category positions will get no relaxation in cutoff marks.
