NIT Nagaland Recruitment 2022 – NIT Nagaland has announced an online job notification for recruitment to the post of Assistant Registrar, Students Activity & Sports (SAS) Officer, Executive Engineer, Superintendent, Stenographer, Junior Assistant, Technician, Office Attendant/Lab Attendant. There are 10 vacancies are to be filled for this posts. Interested candidates who are all eligible for this recruitment can apply on or before 07 February 2022. The pay scale will be Level 1 – 10. Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Assistant Registrar:

  • Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in CGPA/UGC point scale with good academic record from a recognized university/institute Or employees serving as superintendent (SG-I)/private secretary (NFG) in pb-2, gp of rs-5,400/- with at least 02 years regular service or superintendent (SG-II)/private secretary (NFG) in pb-2, gp of rs-4,800/- with at least 05 years regular service with master’s degree.

Students Activity & Sports (SAS) Office:

  • Master’s degree in physical education or master’s degree in sports science or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade in CGPA/ UGC point scale with good academic record from a recognized university/ institute Or record of having represented the university/college at the inter-university/inter-collegiate competitions or the state and/or national championships qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC and passed the physical fitness test conducted in accordance with these regulations.

Executive Engineer:

  • BE/B.Tech in civil engineering/electrical engineering with first class or its equivalent grade in the CGPA/UGC in 7 point scale with good academic record from a recognized university/institute Or employees of the institute with at least 05 years regular service as assistant engineer (SG-II) in pb-2, grade pay of rs-4,800/- or with at least 02 years regular service as assistant engineer (SG-I) in pb-2, grade pay of rs-5,400/-

Superintendent:

  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized university Or institute in any discipline Or Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade and knowledge of computer applications word processing, spread sheet etc.

Stenographer:

  • Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with minimum typing speed in short hand 80 w.p.m. in Stenographer and proficiency in computer word processing and spread sheet with advance skills.

Junior Assistant:



  • Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with minimum typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in computer word processing and spread sheet and proficiency in other computer skills, stenography skills.

Technician (Electrical and Electronics ):

  • Senior secondary (10+2) with science from a government recognized board with at least 60% marks and Senior secondary (10+2) from a government recognized board with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of 01 year or higher duration in appropriate trade and Secondary 10th with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in appropriate trade Or Diploma in engineering of 03 years duration in the relevant field from a government recognized polytechnic/institute.

Technician (Chemistry Laboratory):

  • Senior secondary (10+2) with science from a government recognized board with at least 60% marks and Senior secondary (10+2) from a government recognized board with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of 01 year or higher duration in appropriate trade and Secondary 10th with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in appropriate trade Or Diploma in engineering of 03 years duration in the relevant field from a government recognized polytechnic/institute.

Technician (Mechanical Engineering):

  • Senior secondary (10+2) with science from a government recognized board with at least 60% marks and Senior secondary (10+2) from a government recognized board with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of 01 year or higher duration in appropriate trade and Secondary 10th with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in appropriate trade Or Diploma in engineering of 03 years duration in the relevant field from a government recognized polytechnic/institute.

Office Attendant:

  • Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board.

Lab Attendant:

  • Senior secondary (10+2) in science from a recognized board.

NIT Nagaland Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:

  • Mere fulfilment of the required qualifications and experience, does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview / selection. The Institute reserves the right to fix the criteria of shortlisting after scrutiny by duly constituted committee and their decision of the committee will be made applicable for mode of selection with the approval of the competent Authority.
  • For the posts at Sl. No. 1 to 4, if the numbers of shortlisted applicants are more based on the data furnished by the candidates in the applications, a “Written Test” will be conducted for further shortlisting of the candidates for the final Selection Process including Interview by a Selection Committee.
  • For the posts at Sl. No. 5 to 8, both “Written Test” as well as “skill test” shall be conducted for selection of the suitable candidates. The list of screened – in candidates will be made available on the website. Only the screened – in candidates will be allowed for Test/Interview and those candidates shall be communicated through e-mail or SMS.
