NIT Goa has announced notification for the temporary post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a research project entitled “Thermoconvective Instabilities in a Bidispersive Porous Layer: Linear and Non-linear Stability Analyses” funded by DST-SERB, Government of India, under the guidance of Dr. Ravi Ragoju, Associate Professor of Mathematics, Department of Applied Sciences, and National Institute of Technology Goa. The duration of the position is a maximum of three years. The selected candidates will be given Rs. 31,000/- per month. The selection process will be based on interviews. Educational Qualification:

Project Title: “Thermoconvective Instabilities in a Bidispersive Porous Layer: Linear and Non-linear Stability Analyses” funded by DST-SERB, Government of India, under the guidance of Dr. Ravi Ragoju, Associate Professor of Mathematics, Department of Applied Sciences, and National Institute of Technology Goa.

Junior Research Fellow:

M.Sc. in Mathematics/M.Tech. in relevant fields with a minimum 60% Mark and a valid NET/GATE.

Key Areas of Project: Applied Mathematics, Fluid Dynamics, Hydrodynamic Instabilities.

Duration: One year, extendable upto three years or till the end of the project.
