NIELIT Admit Card 2020:
NIELIT has planned to recruit the 495 candidates for the post of Scientist ‘B’ and Scientific-Technical Assistant ‘A’. By conducting the written examination candidates will be placed for the particular post. The written examination will be held on 07 November 2020 at the scheduled time and place. Candidates need to download the admit card to attend the written examination on the scheduled date. NIELIT will be released the call letter on the official website by the 1st week of October 2020. How to download NIELIT (Scientist ‘B’/ Scientific-Technical Assistant ‘A’) Admit Card 2020?
NIELIT is going to release the written examination call letter in the portal by the first week of October 2020. After the confirmation of the hall ticket releasing date, the applicant can get their hall ticket in the portal. Candidates can download the call letter on the official website by entering their login id. A hall ticket is an important document to carry into the exam hall, without the call letter particular candidate will not be allowed to write the examination. The application can download the admit card by the following steps:-

What to carry into the exam hall along with the admit card?
All candidates are requested to carry the call letter and anyone ID proof, no other items will be allowed to the exam hall. ID proof like

NIELIT Recruitment Selection Process for Scientist ‘B’/ Scientific-Technical Assistant ‘A’:
For Scientist ‘B’ Post – Selection will be done through a written examination and interview
For Scientific/Technical Assistant – ‘A’ Post – Selection will be done through a written examination
Scheme of written examination:
- Written Examination shall be of 3 hours duration conducted in English medium only.
- The written examination shall be Objective type and OMR Based.
- The question paper for the written examination will consist of 65% questions from Technical Area and 35% from Generic Area.
- There shall be a total of 120 objective type Questions consisting of 78 questions from the Technical Area (Computer Science) and 42 questions on the Generic area.
- The Generic Area will comprise of Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning Capabilities, Quantitative and Qualitative abilities, and General Aptitude.
Note: Every question will carry 1 mark and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
The minimum percentage to qualify the written examination:
- 50% for General/EW
- 40% for OBC
- 30% for the SC/ST/PWD categories.
The cut –off marks specified would be applicable in the overall marks (i.e., Technical/Generic Combined) as well as for each section (Technical/Generic) separately.

- Applicant should reach the examination hall on reporting time, after the reporting time the candidates will not be allowed to enter into the examination center
