NICPR: The National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research (NICPR) was initially established as the Cytology Research Centre (CRC) by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in 1979 and was elevated to the level of an Institute in 1989. It was granted national status in 2016, acknowledging its mandate and contributions towards cancer prevention. The institute has broadened its horizon to cater to the prevention of prevalent cancers in the country. The thrust areas of research include pre-cancer and cancers of the uterine cervix, breast and oral cancers.

Project Data Entry Operator Grade B:
- Intermediate or 12th Pass in science stream from recognized board with DOEACC ‘A’ level from a recognized institute and/or 2 years’ experience in EDP work in Government, Autonomous, PSU or any other recognized organization.
- A Speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour (kmph) on computer
Senior Project Assistant (UDC):
- 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized board with 5 years’ experience of administrative work. OR
- Graduate in any discipline with 2 years’ experience of administration work. AND
- A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour (kdph)on computer.
Project Driver Cum Mechanic:
- Matric/S.S.C or equivalent from a recognized board with valid driving license issued by RTO of any State And authorized to drive Light Motor Vehicle (Goods & Passenger) and Two-wheeler with/without gear And two years’ experience in recognized organization/Institute.
- Preference will be given to those who have license other than aboveto drive Heavy Motor Vehicle (Goods & passenger) and Three Wheelers (Auto Rickshaw).
Project Multi-Tasking Staff (Helper):
- High School or equivalent.
Duration: For a period of Four Months or Completion of the project, whichever is earlier. If required will be extended as per project Needs

Selection Process of ICMR NICPR Recruitment:
- The Selection shall be through Computer Based Test (CBT), interview and experience.
- Date, Time and venue of CBT will be communicated through admit cards/call letters on the email ID ONLY given by the applicant in the Application Form.
- Candidates are advised to check their email at regular basis including spam folder of email.
- The merit list will be prepared based on the total score obtained in the CBT (Computer Based Test), and experience.
- Based on this merit list, the candidates shall be called for the interview.
- The combined marks of the CBT, experience and Interview shall be used to create a final list for calling the candidates for document verification.
- All the questions will be MCQ type of one (1) mark each and one-fourth (0.25) mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
