Selection Process of NIACL Careers:

The selection of the candidates will be based on Online Tests & Interviews

• The selection process of NIACL Recruitment will consist of Preliminary Examination (Objective Type), Main Examination (Objective & Descriptive Type) & Interview.
• The final selection would be based on consolidated marks of the Main Examination (objective test) & Interview.

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination:

• The Preliminary Examination (Online Objective Test) for 100 marks would be of one-hour duration and will consist of 3 sections as follows

• The questions in objective tests, except for the test in the English Language, will be made available in English & Hindi.
• Type of Test: Objective
• Candidates will have to qualify in each test by securing passing marks to be decided by the Company.
• An adequate number of candidates state-wise and category-wise as decided by the Company will be shortlisted for the Main Examination.

Phase-II: Main Examination:

• The structure of the Main Exam (Online objective test & Descriptive Test) will be as follows:

• The main Examination will consist of an Online Objective Test for 200 marks.
• Type of Test: Objective
• The questions in objective tests, except for the test in the English Language, will be made available in English & Hindi.

Descriptive Test:

• The descriptive test, which is 30 minutes in duration and with 30 marks, will be a test of the English language (Letter Writing 10 marks & Essay-20 marks).
• The descriptive test will be in English and will be conducted through online mode.

Note:

• There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests.
• For each question the candidate has given a wrong answer, one-fourth of the marks assigned will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score.
• If a question is left blank, i.e. the candidate marks no answer, there will be no penalty for that question.
• The Company reserves the right to modify the examination structure which will be intimated through its website.

Phase-III Interview :

• Candidates who have been shortlisted at the end of Phase II will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Company.
• Interviews will be conducted at select centres.
• The weightage (ratio) of the online Examination and Interview will be 75:25, respectively.
• The centre, address of the venue, time & date of the Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter.

Final selection:

• The final selection would be based on consolidated marks of the main examination (objective test) & Interview.
• The final merit list shall be prepared in descending order of the consolidated marks secured by the candidates.
• Candidates within the number of vacancies in the merit list shall be considered for appointment.
• The selected candidates may be appointed to more than one batch at the discretion of the management.
• The seniority of the selected candidates will be based on merit/selection.
• A Waiting List of candidates not exceeding 50% of the vacancies may also be prepared and utilized in the event of non-acceptance of employment offers by the candidates selected in the final merit list.
• The appointment of selected candidates is subject to their being found to be medically fit as per the requirements of the Company.
• Such appointment will also be subject to the service and conduct rules of the Company.

• All candidates Other than SC/ST/PWD candidates: Rs. 850/- (Application fee including intimation charges)
