Education Qualification:
Library & Information Assistant:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Library Science from a recognized university or institute.
- Two years of professional experience in a library government, state government, autonomous organization, public sector undertaking, recognized research, or educational institution.
Desirable: Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute.
Period of Probation: Two years
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years
Age Relaxation: Relaxable for government servants up to five (5) years, according to the instructions or orders issued by the central government.

Salary: Level 6 (Rs. 35,400/- to 1,12,400/-)
Selection Process for NERFMTTI Recruitment:
- Candidates will be considered for selection by a general standard of merit.
- In the event of several applications being large, the Selection Committee at the institute will adopt shortlisting criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for written/proficiency test
