Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Scientific Officer C (Deans’s Office):

Master’s degree in Life Science (with an aggregate of 60% marks) from a recognized university/institute in a relevant subject/discipline.
Three (3) years of experience in a relevant field as per the requirement of the Section/Department.
Desirable Experience: Experience in running day-to-day activities of a government office, autonomous institute or other office that is a focal point for a large institute or firm.
The ability to handle multiple lines of administrative and coordination activities in parallel. Familiarity with government rules and how such offices function is desirable.
Prior experience in working with multiple stakeholders to request, collect information, compile, and generate reports.
Prior experience with operations related to the statutory committees listed above.
Experience in planning and convening meetings and post-meeting follow-up.

Scientific Assistant B (Instrumentation):

Full-Time Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronics/Biomedical Instrumentation Engineering (from a recognized University/Institute with an aggregate of 60% marks).
Knowledge of the use of personal computers and their applications.
Two (2) years of experience in the operation & maintenance of Biological Research Electronic Instruments, Audio Visual systems, Telecom, and Centralised gas line systems.
Desirable skills: Shall have experience in the Repair& maintenance of high-end/specialized research instruments related to Life science research.
Knowledge of Operation and maintenance of AV systems, and Telecom systems.
Knowledge of Access control and Gas/ Vacuum Line distribution system

Junior Engineer B (Information Technology):

Full-Time Diploma in Computer Science/Electronic&Communication/Information Technology Engineering (from a recognized University/Institute with an aggregate of 60% marks).
Knowledge of the use of personal computers and their applications.
Two (2) years of hands-on experience in the following:
Working knowledge of Linux OS.
Installation/Compilation of software in Linux.
Bash/Python scripting.
Working/Testing with open-source applications.
Installation/Compilation of software in Linux.
Regularly upgrade systems as needed as well maintaining periodic backups and verification.
Manage desktop and lab server infrastructure.
Manage Helpdesk calls for systems which involves resolving/updating issues/tickets, request tracking, analytics and reporting on tickets.
Desirable skills: Configuring DHCP. DNS, Firewalls on Linux servers.
IT Desktop Security.
Preparation of technical documents, evaluations, cost estimates, etc.

Junior Engineer B (Civil):

Full-Time Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with an aggregate of 60% marks.
Knowledge of the use of personal computers and their applications.
Two (2) years of experience in maintenance of civil works, construction work, preparation of drawing in Autocad, and maintenance of landscape and Sewage Treatment Plant.
Desirable skills: Knowledge of CPWD rules and regulations and relevant IS Codes.
Experience in the construction and maintenance of large-scale institutional buildings is preferred.

Scientific Officer C (Information Technology):

Full-time B.E/B.Tech Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology Engineering (with an aggregate of 60% marks) from a recognized university/institute.
Minimum three years of hands-on experience in Drupal 7/Drupal 8/Drupal 9 including module and theme development.
Web development experience on the LAMP stack.
Sound knowledge of Linux OS
Installation/Compilation of software in Linux
Configuration of Apache/NGINX/MariaDB on Linux
PHP Scripting, MySQL, HTML5, Javascript
Bash/Python scripting
Desirable skills: Experience in configuring network devices(Switches, Routers)
Working with open-source applications
Development of Mobile Apps

Scientific Officer C (Civil):

Full-time B.E/B.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering (with an aggregate of 60% marks) from a recognized university/institute.
Three (3) years of experience in exposure to the operation & Maintenance and management of civil Infrastructure in reputed organizations.
Desirable skills: Good knowledge of CPWD/Government work procedures and building codes.
Experience in supervision of construction, at least shall have experience for one building from the foundation level to the superstructure.
Knowledge of quality control, rate analysis, cost estimation, recording measurements and writing in measurement books, certification of contractors’ bills, etc.
Knowledge of personal computers, basic applications, and AutoCAD.

Scientific Officer C (Research Integrity officer):

Master’s degree in Life Science (with an aggregate of 60% marks) from a recognized university/institute.
Two (2) years of experience with scientific data collection and its reporting, and strong analytical and written communication skills are essential.
Desirable Qualification & Experience: Ph.D. in biological sciences with experience in digital data handling.
The applicant should have a consistent track record of research output evidenced by the publication of primary peer-reviewed primary research papers.
First-hand knowledge of modern biological techniques and approaches.
Experience with current methodologies used for gathering and processing data in research laboratories.

Scientific Officer D (Senior System Engineer):

Full-Time M.E./M.Tech./Equivalent in Computer Science/Information Technology with an aggregate of 60% marks from a recognized university/institute.
Two (2) years of hands-on experience in carrying out system administration on a Linux environment and in the following areas:
Working with large HPC and centralized storage set-up.
Manage system infrastructure including servers, firewalls (IDS/IPS), malware and other software and hardware.
Expert knowledge of system security concerns and vulnerabilities.
In-depth knowledge and experience with Vmware Python/Bash/Perl Scripting.
Working/Testing with open-source applications.
Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networks.
Experience in taking up regular upgrades of the current systems as well as maintaining periodic backups and verification.
Experience in installation/integrating new applications and technologies in the system.
Desirable Experience: Experience in configuring network devices(Switches, Routers).
Experience in System Administration/HPC in an Educational or Research organization of repute.

Scientific Officer D (Electron Microscopy Facility):

Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/chemistry/physics from a recognized University/Institute.
Minimum Two (2) years post-doctoral experience in Electron Microscopy.
Desirable Experience: Hands-on experience in working with modern electron microscopy systems.
Experience in managing electron microscopes and associated equipment.
Track record in developing and implementing new methods of sample preparation for Life Science specimens including sectioning, embedding, and staining.
Experience in the use of digital technologies and tools for the acquisition, storage, and analysis of data from electron microscopes.
Track record and interest in training researchers in the use of electron microscopy for biological research.

Selection Process:

The Selection process shall involve two-stage i.e., a Preliminary Interview and Main Interview.
The Main Interview shall be conducted only for those candidates who are shortlisted based on their performance in the Preliminary Interview.
