NBPGR Recruitment 2024: ICAR-National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (NBPGR) has announced notification for the Junior Research Fellow and Scientific/Administrative Assistant posts. There are three openings for the NBPGR Jobs. Candidates with the qualification of Any Degree/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc are eligible to apply for these posts. The monthly remuneration of Rs. 18,000 – 37,000 will be given. The selection process will be based on an interview. Educational Qualifications:
Name of the Project: Mining pearl millet germplasm collection towards developing traits for low rancidity, high shelf life, and better nutrient profile
Project period: November 2023-October 2025
Junior Research Fellow (01):
- Post Graduate Degree in Basic/Allied Sciences (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Material Science/ Environment Science/ Any discipline of Life Sciences) OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology/ Material Sciences, etc.)
- Scholars who are selected through the National Eligibility TestCSIR-UGC NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- The Selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.
- Desirable Qualification: Candidates with research experience in analytical techniques in Biochemistry/Material Science
Scientific/Administrative Assistant:
- Graduation in any discipline
- Desirable Qualification: Experience in Biochemistry-related analysis, handling instruments, data entry, etc.
Project: Mainstreaming Corn-Based Bio-Polymers as an Alternative to Single-Use Plastic

Junior Research Fellow (01):
