Stipend details of Naval Dockyard Vizag Careers: Admissibility of monthly stipend is based on Section 13 of ‘The Apprentices Act 1961 and ‘The Apprenticeship Rules 1992 read in conjunction with ‘The Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules 2019’. The stipend payable will be range from Rs. 9,600/- to Rs.10,560/- per month.

Selection Process of Naval Dockyard Vizag Careers:
Shortlisting of Candidates for Written Exam:
- Shortlisting of candidates for issue of hall tickets would be undertaken based on marks secured in SSC/ Matriculation and ITI, in a ratio of 70:30 and a merit list will be drawn up.
- Hall tickets for appearing in written examination will be sent to the shortlisted applicants in the ratio of 1:5 against existing vacancies in each trade and category to maintain reservation quota as per extant guidelines.
Written Examination:
- OMR based written examination comprises of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (Mathematics 35, General Science 35, General Knowledge 30) in English language with each question carrying one mark would be conducted for a duration of two hours at Visakhapatnam.
- There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
Final Merit List:
- Final Merit List will be prepared trade and category wise based on marks obtained in the written examination.
- Tie breakers will be the date of birth in the order of elder to younger followed by name of candidates (as per SSC/ Metric/ Std X) in the alphabetical order.
