Educational Qualification:
Project Title: “Development Of Spinnable Grade Meta And Para Aramid Polymers sponsored” by NTTM
Project Associate-I:
- Essential: Master’s Degree in Organic/Polymer Chemistry or bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Polymer/Plastic Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent
- Experience:
- Experience in lab-scale process development
- Experience in process scale-up.
- Good knowledge of carrying out a mass and component balance of a lab-scale process development
Project Associate-II:
- Essential:
- Master’s Degree in Organic/Polymer Chemistry or bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Polymer/Plastic Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent;
- Two(2) years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services
- Experience:
- Experience in polymer synthesis
- Experience in process scale-up
- Experience in pilot plant commissioning and operation
- Good knowledge of the safe handling of chemicals
Senior Project Associate:
- Essential:
- Master’s Degree in Organic/Polymer chemistry or bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Polymer/Plastic Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent;
- Four(4) years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services; [or]
- M.E/M.Tech in Chemical/Polymer/Plastic Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent with two years experience in R&D in industrial and Academic Institutions or S&T Organizations and Scientific activities and services; [or]
- Doctoral Degree in Polymer Science/Chemical /Polymer/Plastic Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or equivalent
- Experience:
- Experience in polymer synthesis and characterization
- Experience in process scale-up and pilot plant design
Duration: The engagement will be initially for six months, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the tenure of the sponsored project / satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may be.
Age limit:
- Project Associate-I: 35 years
- Project Associate-II: 35 years
- Senior Project Associate: 40 years
Salary Details:
- Project Associate-I: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA
- Project Associate-II: Rs. 28,000/- + HRA

Selection Process of CSIR NCL Recruitment:
- The selection process will be based on interviews.
- Shortlisted candidates must appear before the Selection Committee for an online interview.
- The prescribed educational qualifications are a bare minimum, and merely possessing the same will not entitle candidates to be called for an interview.
- The candidates recommended by the Screening Committee to be called for an interview will be notified on the website and the divisional Notice Board.
- A URL link will be provided to the shortlisted candidate via email for online interviews.
- An interview will be conducted online through a suitable medium such as Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Cisco WebEx, etc.
- Selected candidates must join duty immediately upon receipt of the engagement offer.
