Educational Qualification: 

For CMD/ Mazdoor/ Chowkidar:

  • Candidates should pass 10th matric from a recognized educational board/university
  • Must possess Civil Driving License for Heavy Vehicles & must have minimum of two years experience of driving such vehicles thereafter

Age limit (as on 25.01.2020): 

  • General – 18 to 25 years

Ministry of Defence Recruitment Selection process for Group C & D:

Selection will be done on the basis of written tests and Physical endurance/skill test

Written test:

  • The written test in all respect for Mazdoor, Chowkidar and Civil Motor Driver (CMD) will carry 150 marks
  • The question paper will be in bilingual format, objective type and matriculation level based.
  • Answers to be marked on an OMR Sheet which will be issued at the examination centre.
  • Negative marking 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

  • The paper will consist of Objective Type – Multiple Choice Questions only.
  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer

Typing Test for the Post of LDC only:

  • Those who qualify in written test will only be called for the typing test.
  • Typing Test will be of Qualifying in nature on computer.
  • Typing test will be conducted only in English or Hindi
  1. English Typing @ 35 w.p.m. (Time allowed 10 minutes) (30 minutes for VH
    candidates)
  2. Hindi Typing @ 30 w.p.m. (Time allowed 10 minutes) (30 minutes for VH candidates) 35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m correspond to 10500 Key Depressions per hour/9000 Key Depression per hour on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).

Note: Any error beyond 2% will attract deduction of 10 marks for each mistake. A candidate to score minimum 50 marks in the typing test.
