MHRB Assam Recruitment 2023: The Medical and Health Recruitment Board, Assam, has announced an online recruitment job notification for the Medical Officer post. There are 101 vacancies available for this post. The educational qualification of the candidates must be BAMS. Educational Qualification:
Medical Officer:
Essential Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurveda from a University or its equivalent as recognized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine under the act.
Requirement: A valid registration with the Assam State Council of Indian Medicine or a valid Central or National Registration Certificate issued by the Central Council of Indian Medicine or National Commission for Indian System of Medicine.
Age Limit (As of 01 January 2023): A candidate should not be less than 21 years old and not more than 38 years old.
Age Relaxation:
The upper age limit is relaxable for the candidates of reserved categories as per existing provisions.

Salary: Rs. 30,000 – 1,10,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 12,700/- plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules.
Selection Process:
The selection will be based on an examination/ interview. The selection procedure will be notified later by issuing an addendum.
Application Fees:
- Rs. 250/- (rupees two hundred fifty) only for General category candidates
- Rs. 150/- (rupees one hundred fifty) only for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST (P)/ST (H) candidates.
- No application fee is required for the candidate’s PWD.
Mode Of Payment:
- The application fee may be deposited through Treasury Challan in the Head of Account “0210-Medical and Public Health-01-Urban Health Services-800-Other Receipt” OR
- Fees can be deposited online using Government Receipt Accounting System-GRAS
