MESCOM Recruitment 2023 – Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Ltd, has announced Job vacancies for Graduate Apprentices/Technician Apprentices/General Stream Graduates Apprentices. There are 210 vacancies to be filled for this recruitment. Interested candidates with the qualification of B.E/B.Tech/Diploma/B.A/B.Sc/B.Com/BBA/BCA in relevant discipline are eligible to apply. About MESCOM: Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited is an Indian electricity supplier to the districts of Karnataka namely Dakshina Kannada, Udupi district, Chickmagalur and Shimoga. It has its headquarters at Mangaluru. The company was formed on June 2002. Karnataka Electricity Board (KEB) which was earlier involved in Transmission & Distribution of electricity in state of Karnataka was corporatised into Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited. Currently KPTCL looks after only Transmission and the Electricity Supply Companies (ESCOM’s) look after distribution. The distribution of electricity to last mile or end users is done by this Electricity Supply Companies (ESCOM’s) in the state of Karnataka.

Educational Qualification:
Graduate Apprentices: The candidates should possess B.E/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Technician Apprentices: The candidates should possess Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
General Stream Graduates Apprentices: The candidates should possess B.A/B.Sc/B.Com/BBA/BCA
Note: Passed out in the year 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023 hailing from Karnataka State,
Duration of Training: The duration of Apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year as per Apprenticeship
Age Limit: The age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules
Total Vacancies: 210 Posts
- Graduate Apprentices: 70 Posts
- Technician Apprentices: 65 Posts
- General Stream Graduates Apprentices: 65 Posts
Salary:
- Graduate Apprentice – Rs.9000/-
- Technician Apprentices – Rs.8000/-
- General Stream Graduates Apprentices: Rs. 9,000/-
Selection Process:
- Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is entrusted with the task of preparing of shortlist from the online application data.
- Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines. Shortlisted candidates shall be intimated through their registered Email id.
- Shortlisted candidates have to appear for Certificate Verification at MESCOM, Mangaluru.
