MCTE Recruitment 2021 – Military College of Telecommunication Engineering has announced an online job notification for the recruitment to the post of Stenographer/Lower Division Clerk /Lab Assistant/Lab Attendant/Draughtsman/Civilian Motor Driver/Cook/Safaiwala/Fatigueman . There are 37 vacancies are to be filled for this posts. Interested candidates who are all eligible for this recruitment can apply on or before 26 July 2021. The educational qualification of the candidates must be Diploma/12th/10th. The pay scale of the candidates will be Rs. 18000– 81100/-. The detailed eligibility and selection process are given below.

Educational Qualification:

Stenographer Grade-II:

  • 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Skill Test Norms:- Dictation : 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute. Transcription : 50 minutes (English), 65 minutes (Hindi) (On Computer)

Lower Division Clerk:

  • 12th class pass from a recognized Board or University. Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English on computer or a typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500/9000 key depressions per hour on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).

Laboratory Assistant:

  • Higher Secondary Certificate with Physics and Chemistry.

Lab Attendant (MTS):



  • Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Draughtsman (Computer Operator):

  • Matriculation or equivalent. Diploma in Computer Application or equivalent certificate from recognised technical institution.

Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade):

  • Matriculation. Must possess the Civilian Driving Licence for heavy vehicles and have two year experience of driving such vehicles.

Cook:

  • Matriculation (10th Class pass) from a recognized Board. Must have knowledge of Indian Cooking and proficiency in trade.

Safaiwala (MTS):

  • Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Fatigueman:

  • Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board. Must be conversant with the duties of Fatigueman with one year experience.

Age Limit:

  • Stenographer Grade-II, Lower Division Clerk ,Safaiwala (MTS), Fatigueman, Lab Attendant (MTS) , Cook , Lab Asst, Draughtsman (Computer Opr) – 18-25 years
  • Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade) – 18-27 years

MCTE Recruitment 2021 Selection Process:

For the post of Steno Gde-II.

  • The examination will consist of Written test (Tier-I) and Skill Test (Tier-II). The Commandant, MCTE reserves the right to add an additional Tier in the scheme of Examination.

Tier-I (Written Test):

  • The written test will comprise of three parts as given below as per the standard of Education The question paper other than Gen English will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi. Candidates can answer in either language except for the Gen English paper. The duration of written papers will be 120 min.

Tier-II (Skill test) :

  • Candidates who obtain the qualifying marks in the Examination as may be prescribed by the Commandant, MCTE will only be called for the Skill Test. The Commandant, Military College of Telecommunication Engineering, Mhow may also prescribe qualifying marks in each part of Examination. The skill test will be of qualifying nature and the Commandant, MCTE will fix the qualifying standards in the skill test for different categories of candidates.

For the post of LDC.

  • The examination will consist of Written Test (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and Typing Test (Tier-III).

Tier-I (Written Test):

  • The written test will comprise of four parts as given below as per the standard of Education Qualification. The question paper other than Gen English will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi. Candidates can answer in either language except for the Gen English paper. The duration of written papers will be 75 min.

Tier-II (Descriptive Paper):



  • Tier-II Paper will be a descriptive Paper of 100 Marks in Pen and Paper Mode. The duration of the paper would be for one hour. The Paper would comprise writing of an Essay of 200-250 words and Letter / Application writing of approximately 150-200 words.
  • The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II would be 33 per cent. The performance in Tier II would be included for preparing merit. The paper will have to be written either in Hindi or in Part paper written in Hindi and Part in English will not be evaluated.

Tier-III (Skill Test):

  • Typing Test will be conducted for those candidates who qualify in the Written Examination (Tier-I) and Descriptive Paper (Tier-II). Such Typing Test will be conducted in English or Hindi.
  • Typing Test will be of qualifying in nature. Candidates opting for English medium should have typing speed of 35 words per minute and those opting for Hindi medium should have typing speed of 30 words per minute. The speed will be adjudged on the accuracy of typing on the Computer of a given text passage in 10 minutes.

For the post of Safaiwala (MTS) & Lab Attdt (MTS).

  • The written examination will consist of (Tier-I) objective type paper and (Tier-II) descriptive type as shown below:

  • The written test will comprise of four parts as given below as per the standard of Education The question paper other than Gen English will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi. Candidates can answer in either language except for the Gen English paper. The duration of written papers will be 120 min.

  • Written Test: The written test will comprise of four parts as given below as per the standard of Education Qualification. The question paper other than Gen English will be bilingual i.e. English and Candidates can answer in either language except for the Gen English paper. The duration of written papers will be 90 min.
